The Ice House in an old ice factory since 1900. Itýs a cool thing to see nearby the water front and other fish related place. The ice was brought from Norway to cool the fish. The Ice House was closed in 1990.
It was along time ago and I didn''t take many pictures butu since this was my first ever trip out of the US, I remember a lot of it by how I felt while I was travelling and exploring this little town.
The trip came about with about 3 days notice fro my boss. I didn't have a passport and didn't have a copy of my birth certificate to get a passport. The day I was to travel to Grimsby, I got up early, went to the Oyster Bay town hall to get a birth certificate, drove to the passport office in Stamford, CT and got a passport.
That evening, I was on a plane form JFK to Heathrow. Thena smaller plan from Heathrow to Grimsby via Norwich.
