It wasn't anything special or wonderful. It was a good location, safe. Clean rooms. Helpful staff, decent restaurant. It was all average. If their rates continue to be reasonable I'd stay there again.
Budget hotel on a busy junction
I have never stayed here but have eaten in the restaurant and the restaurant is certainly worth a visit. As for the hotel I can only say that it stands on a busy road junction and the noise from traffic may be a problem. It is not a hotel that would create a good impression on me should I want to stay here - the windows and doors have heavy green metal shutters that are opened when a room is let. The area is not very inviting either - there is a small council estate next to it and a Jobcentreplus office across the road.
There is a car park and free wi-fi through the hotel. Would probably suit the younger visitor who wants to sample Hulls nightlife.
Unique Quality: Despite my opinion of the area the restaurant is well worth a visit. I cannot comment on the hotel rooms which stand across the car park away from the main building.
Directions: From the Interchange turn left and walk past Debenhams until you reach the large road junction - the hotel is in front of you. However you have to cross the road and walk up Beverley Road and turn first right in to Norfolk Street .
