Clyde House Hotel
I haven't even been to this hotel. I booked months in advance, and a few weeks ago I e-mailed them to check if everything was ok, and today they called me to tell me "they were leaving in August, so they couldn't accommodate me". When I said I thought this was ridiculous, they said they had only called me to tell me in advance so I could book somewhere else, and that was that. No explanation, no apologies, nothing.
Absolutely ridiculous. So don't book there, because obviously a reservation doesn't mean you can actually get a room there.
Anyway, on their website it says a single standard is £20 but they charge £27.
Unique Quality: Well, they said they had tv and coffee- and tea making facilities, but who knows. They also said they could accommodate me.
