Of course I have never had a need to stay here but this hotel does have a good reputation locally and is well positioned on the Marina and on the A63 at Castle Street.
This is where the stars sometimes stay when they come to Hull so you may be lucky and see someone famous at breakfast.
Location wise the area is a partially a building site (summer 2008) with the hotel side of the Marina getting new flats. Across the far side the area will shortly be partially demolished for redevelopment in to a cultural quarter but that is two years away. However the area is full of interest and a short walk takes you to the River Humber.
Directions: On the Marina and just off the A63. Follow the signs for the Ice Arena.
