The Fayreness Hotel: Hotel on Kent Coast twixt Broadstairs and Margate
Choice of cooked breakfast as well as choice from the breakfast buffet - the cooked food was delicious and kept us going all day.
Accommodation was very comfortable with a separate bathroom which was much larger than an en suite.
We stayed for two nights as it was full up either side of the days we stayed and, of the other guests, most of the people had stayed there previously.
One of the evenings we ate at the hotel. The food was well priced and to our liking. From memory, between us we had a pint of prawns, fried whitebait, green beans, sweet potato chips and salad.
The Shepherd Neame beer was well kept and just what we needed.
Fabulous view of the sea and across the small road is a grassed area, a path and chalk cliffs above the beach.
Free parking around the hotel
The hotel is at the end of the road so there is no through traffic noise.
We walked down The Viking Coastal Path to Broadstairs which took about three quarters of an hour.
