DEFUNCT - Best Western Churchill Hotel & Health Club

Newly renovated and worth a visit

Having had the privilege to be invited to dinner here a couple of times recently and also having had the pleasure of being shown one of the rooms that a colleague was staying here I felt it necessary to update my Dover page and recommend this newly renovated hotel on the beach in Dover. The staff and management alike are friendly and knowledgeable people and the food we had was of excellent quality. The night we went there was a traditional Indian buffet and the chef was on hand to tell us where the dishes came from. The restaurant is nice and there are many table overlooking the seafront. The location of the hotel can't be beat. Only 2 minutes from the ferry terminal makes it a good place to stay for business people and holiday makers alike. I have not stayed but a colleague who visits regularly assures me that her stay is more than comfortable. The rooms are really nice and many have sea views. If you need to stay in Dover I thoroughly recommend the newly named Dover Marina Hotel.
