Gone with the wind (no Clark Gables here!)
I am stayin at in Blackpool for 2 night 4th & 5th December and am unsure OF what there is too do at night.
Does anyone know of any shows/special guests and nice places to eat?
That is Monday and Tuesday night and it is fairly quiet about then because the main illuminations go out in November (the Christmas ones will be on) and the Christmas Crowds have not begun to arrive en mass but there may be the odd office party, there is usually something going on.
There will be some clubs open and the drinks are cheaper through the week, some people rave about Funny Girls (which is strictly for drag fans) to be honest it looks dire.
I don t know if there are any shows on then, probably not.
The are some decent Italian and assorted ethnic Resturants one street north of the Winter Gardens
I am not being much help am I, I am in Blackpool tomorrow night, I will have a think about it.
Try and go at the time of the illuminations. Trying to write a description of the World Famous Blackpool Illuminations is not at all easy. They are about six miles in length and consist of brightly illuminated displays showing film stars, tea pots, fish etc etc. There are also roadside displays, the Tower is fully lit up, illuminated trams and a host of other things.
The display is breathtaking display. They are on around Oct/Nov time.
