mike and sally welcomed us on arrival and made us feel right at home, the hotel is in a superb location and close to any thing you would need. the room we stayed in was very clean (as was the whole hotel) and was set out brilliantly! we had the breakfast in the mornings and the food was cooked to perfection! my stay at the branston lodge was overall fantastic and i shall be returning!
We were very pleased with the accommodations at The Branston Lodge. It is bright, clean and modern. Mike and Sally were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was well supplied. Location was perfect for our trip to Blackpool, we were able to park the car and walk easily to our destinations! We would definitely stay again!!
Mike and Sally made our stay very comfortable, that we even stayed on another night and day. The whole guest house was clean. The breakfast was a great way to start our day. With young children in our party we were very lucky to have found this guest house. We will be staying here again. We have had a most enjoyable stay big thanks to Mike and Sally.
I booked this accommodation over the Internet, and as others have mentioned, you do worry when you book sight unseen. But I worried over nothing. Mike and Sally are charming, helpful hosts, the guest house is beautiful, clean, spacious, and in a quiet area of Blackpool. No stag and hen party noise. There is a laundrette, dry cleaners, gift shops, and food establishments all nearby. Plus the tram stop is only a short distance away.
Sally met us when we arrived. She was really welcoming, and offered us a lovely hot cuppa after she showed us to our room.
The room was spacious, bright, cheery, and very well equipped. A pleasure to stay in.
The dining room was really quaint, and the breakfast was to die for. Delicious. Mike and Sally both helped with the cooking and serving of breakfast and were really chatty and very helpful with anything we needed to know.
We needed to be able to transfer some files from our video camera onto a memory stick and Mike was more than happy to let us use his lap top PC. Without that we wouldn't have been able to take half the footage we did during our stay.
I can't say enough about how wonderful Sally and Mike are and how wonderful the guest house is. We really really wanted to extend our stay there for another 4 days, but not surprisingly the place was fully booked. It really was a pleasure to stay there, and sad to go. We will definitely stay there again.
Branston lodge, well what can i say it has been a pleasure to stay at such an accomodating b+b.
The rooms are excellent even for families plenty of space, location is right next to the pleasure beach and a 10 min walk to the tower or five on tram.
Sally and Mike are very freindly and do a wonderful job looking after there guests they will try there best to help you in all circumstances that may occur.
As for star rating i would give it a five nothing less.

On our return visit we wondered if it would be as good as before due to the new owners. Mike and Sally were very welcoming and had made a few improvements since our last visit. It is surprising how quiet it is as the beach and attractions are very close by.
The B&B now has wireless interent - if you can find the right location.
My son already wants to go back again next year for a few days.
This is the best guest house in Blackpool, with a friendly and helpful welcome on arrival. It made the start of a great trip. The rooms are clean,bright and fresh. It was a pleasure to stay there. I will be returning to Branston lodge everytime I go to Blackpool.
The owners were friendly, helpful and what ever you required they would do all they could to provide. We took our one year old son away and they provided toys on site, changing mat and a cot. The rooms were very spacious and cozy and the full amenities made our visit even more worth while. The breakfast was excellent and we will certainly be going back again.
The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. There was a wide range of choice for breakfast and Mike and Sally were very inviting and pleasant. Located 5 minutes walk to the pleasure beach. Helped add to a great weekend, would definately return and recommend.
Wonderful friendly owners who were genuinley pleased to help.
Stayed with family fincluding a small baby and a 12 year old boy and we were all catered for.
A joy to stay in and we are looking forward to returning.
