La Tour Hotel isadvertised as a lovely comfortable family run hotel, this is not the case.
The hotel is worn out and is in a poor state of decoration, the pictures on the website are not of this hotel, at least not of this millenia.
The rooms are filthy and significantly the en-suite facility was cheap and nasty with black mould on the shower tiles and shower curtain, this was on the first day of our stay. The centre light in the room is a 5' fluorescent which is unsuitable for a hotel room.
During our stay the carpets were never vacuum cleaned nor was there any significant dusting or cleaning carried out.
Noise insulation between the rooms is non existent and the evening entertainment can be heard at great volume in every room.
Drink is served to non residents which can be a bit uncomfortable when the drinkers can have a view of the guest having their evening meal.
We understood this hotel to be of a fairly good standard but we were badly disapointed at how bad it actually was when we arrived. This is the poorest hotel we have ever stayed in and we would advise people to stay well clear of it.

Unique Quality: The food was the only good feature of this hotel, good selection and very tasty.
