Rickety old electric trams clatter along the Promenade. They are musty and crusty but save walking between the piers.In a famous episode of Coronation Street, one of the characters got flattened by one of the trams. But after watching these things lurch about in real life, it's more likely the tram would've bounced off.
Hop on and buy your ticket from a conductor as they walk along the aisle. Ah, those were the days...
