I have been to Blackpool a number of times, my family are from Manchester, but this was the most memorable visit. Apollo was going to the moon, the Beatles were in the charts and there were donkeys on the beach (there still are) guess which one i was interested in. Thats my grandfather behind me, my mother and youngest sister to my left. I wonder, is this the oldest picture on VT.com? It was 1969 and the brightest thing on the seafront were the trams, how things have changed.
