Blackpool has three piers, which in my opinion is just plain greedy
South pier is the home of one of those white knuckle - brown trousered bungee swings, not for those of a nervous disposition
The piers used to be famous for the quality entertainment they would attract to their theatres for the summer season, now, as we go further and further away from the glory days of the Variety Shows the gloss and tinsel is somewhat diminished
North Pier was always the quietest, or as my Mother would say `the least common`, we children called it the boring pier, and would long for the brighter lights and fairground rides of the South shore
