The Dutchman Hotel

I am regularly in Blackpool to see family and friends, and so my brother asked me if I would like to join himself and his colleagues as they were due down for a training course to which I agreed. We went onto This Hotels site and booked over the phone stating our Names and how long we wished to stay which was 1 night, they took our deposit of £20 each so all in all they took £100 that day. A week later we arrived and went to our hotel, they refused to let us stay as we were a group, they stated that if we had read the small print we would have known this, When we said it doesnt mention anything like this they replied that it is on price comparison sites but we did not book through this, they also said that they only accept families and couples to which we replied that 2 of the colleagues my brother were with were a couple and my brother an I are family. Still they refused and even refused to refund out deposit, the staff were extremely rude and couldnt care less where we ended up, even after we said that they knew that it was a group as they took our booking so why take the money if they knew how many would be arriving. We have still to recieve our deposit and have now been in contact with Trading Standards, I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone and wish I had booked another one. They are a complete con.

Unique Quality: Nothing as we were refused entry!!!!

Directions: I wouldnt waste your time with this place.
