One of the stallsBlackpool and Cleveleys
Well Blackpool is like a second home to me!! First of all, I was born here, at Blackpool Victoria hospital and second of all, my parents were born and brought up in this area and most of my family live in the next town called Cleveleys.
This picture was taken in 1994 when I was thirteen!! There was helicopter rides for £15 from the heli pad on either north or south pier (I can't remember which one)It is the furthest away pier in the picture!! So my gran and grandpa decided to treat us. There is no longer helicopter rides because during the winter there was bad gales and the sea was really rough to the extent that half of the pier was swept into the sea. If you look in my other pages you will see us before we go on!!
I think this is the best picture I have on Blackpool!! It looks lovely from up here!!
