Londis shop at Pontins
Am Coming to Blackpool from London on Friday 1st December 2006 for the weekend to celebrate my friends birthday. Will it be busy or will it be really quite? Planning on a pub and club crawl. Will their be plenty of people to have fun with or is it a really quite time of year?
Please help, as Im worried my friend might be dissapointed with her present

You should have a good night, it aint the busiest time of the year but you are going at the weekend and at the run up to Christmas (go a week or two later and it would be mobbed) there should be plenty of people about.
The Promenade end of Talbot Road (Yates’s) gets busy, as does Brannigans (near the Tower) and Walkabout (on the Strand). These all open late, clubs include Club Sannuck, the Syndicate.
Dotted around these are plenty of smaller friendly places and you can ask people whats happening, you should find what you are looking for no bother.
Blackpool also has a buzzing (and mostly hetro friendly) gay scene.
The last of Blackpool's three piers - work began on Blackpool’s South pier in 1892. It has bungee jumps and sky dives for those brave enough - me ?, well I was just happy to watch others hand over lots off money for a few seconds thrill whilst I enjoyed a drink in the laughhing donkey bar here.
