Greetings.
If one needs to go from the Leicester bus station to the Belmont House hotels, what are the transportation options?

There are two bus stations in Leicester, one for long distance services and one for local buses. They are fairly close together but across town from the Belmont.

If I remember correctly, the 14 and 14A Operated by First Leicester) run pretty close to the bus stations and down the road not far from the Belmont.
It's about a 20 minute walk through the City Centre to the Belmont.

I imagine you will be arriving at St Margaret's bus station, which serves the National Express buses as well as local buses.
The Belmont is on De Montfort Street, just off New Walk. It's quite a way from St Margarets bus station. There is a link to a streetmap here:

You will need to walk through the city centre and then along New Walk (which is largely pedestrianised). It will take at least 20/25 minutes, probably longer as you will have to find your way.
You will find taxis outside the bus station. Fare will be around 5GBP and will be your easiest option. Otherwise you could take any of the buses which stop at the railway station and walk from there.
The ancient church of St. Mary de Castro is sited within what once was the bailey of Leicester castle. It is a fascinating example of how church architecture has changed over the centuries, and is also where Geoffrey Chaucer was married.
