The Olde Barn Hotel

We stayed at the Olde Barn Hotel on Saturday 28th October 2006
for just one night as a birthday treat for my wife's special birthday.
What a treat, the staff on reception were welcoming and friendly.
The four poster room was a good size, very clean and comfortable with everything we could have wished for.
A good size bath and a separate powerful shower was very welcome and again the cleanliness of the bathroom was a credit to the management and staff.
Diner was also great with the staff very attentive and efficient.
All in all a five star stay. Brilliant.

If you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere within easy drive to Grantham, Lincoln, Newark on Trent, Nottingham, or Stamford, The Olde Barne Hotel is for you. Situated in the Marston countryside surrounded by Sod Farms that supply the turf to Wimbledon tennis courts, is the tastefully renovated historic barn that is perfect for groups touring the British countryside or attending the local antique events. The packages including breakfast and dinner are exceptional, with a varied traditional English menu and wonderful desserts. With service that goes beyond the ordinary, the staff aims to please and entertain their guests! Our stay was fun, delicious, comfortable, and even included a hotel history discussion from the clever and entertaining manager, Patrick Hunt. For affordable and nice accommodations, it is a highly recommended stay.
Accessible Heaven

What a wonderful hotel, as a wheelchair user, I needed to find a place to get my head down as I was in Lincolnshire on business. The reception staff and management are great.
The rooms are scrummy, it's a long time since I slept so soundly as the beds are fab.
Restaurant is exceptional with a fabulous chef. Beer is local and a treat for real ale drinkers. The hotel grow there own veg and it's a delight.
I can only say, no matter what your ability - this hotel has a room for you.
