Lovely warm friendly hosts that made us feel very welcome. Lots of parking spaces wich was a massive bonus for a sea front guest house. Hosts couldn't do enough for us and gave us some great information on were to visit. "huggy" is a VERY friendly dog (and other comments Iv read on here about him are just laughable) we even joined in his evening walk along the sea front. Food was amazing and a great selection ,unbelievable value for money and the best breakfast Iv ever had at any guest house or hotel. Rooms were clean and decorated lovely with nice touches including everything you could need, tea ,coffee ,towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner i could carry on as there was litrually everything we needed. We will be coming back soon and would highly recommend pat and Adrian's guest house to all our friends and family.

The Red Lion. 2-4 Roman Bank. Lumley Road. Skegness. Lincolnshire. PE25 2RU ... Type: JD Wetherspoon.

These are usually the cheapest bars in town but I am happy to be corrected!

I haven't been to Skegness recently but if the town is like all the other east coast resorts suffering from the recession there will be plenty of cheap drink options everywhere and anywhere. All the entertainment is along the promenade and to a certain extent on the road that leads to the railway station.

Travel Tips for Skegness

Top quality golfing experience

by sourbugger

Crazy golf is an important sport - surely we should be pushing for olympic recognition of this skillful sport. We should pick up gold medals as the sport as the one attribute vital for British success -- you need absolutely no athletic prowess whatsoever.

It's a liitle fact that many of the golfing greats perfect their putting here off season when they can get a discount.

Gary Player has been known to curse at the spinning windmill and Lee Trevino made his Masters victories possible by repeatedly putting past the giant penguin on hole 10.

If only Tiger woods would see sense and hone his skills between the gnomes on the back 9 then total domination of the world golfing circuit would be assured.
