Chester...
We also visited Chester on our way from Liverpool while heading down to London. Chester is a cute town not too far from Liverpool...just across the water really... It is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area...

We're planning a long weekend in Liverpool and want to have a good night out. Can anyone tell me a few nightclubs?
We're into hard trance/hard trance/techno/rave and like to party all night so a place that is open till +-4am would do the trick for us.
Not to expensive, good atmosphere, good music, and people going out of their mind...
I heard that Cream, Elysium, Society, Zanzibar are worth a visit?
Thanks
You might want to take a look at Korova, Barfly, Modo, Lemon Lounge and Arena. All located fairly close to each other in the city centreand opening late at weekends
Thanks for the reply
Any info on the clubs I mentioned?
Ofcourse I can take a look at their sites but pictures don't say much, own experiences does
Hi,
Well the original Cream closed down in 2002 and I guess your mate means 'Baby Cream'. This is located down on the Albert Dock with a number of other celeb' attracting venues. It's a smart bar/club with good techno sounds. Reputation for good DJ's and popular with the fashion conscious folk of Liverpool. Personal view is that Society is a more worthy successor to the old Cream as it is unpretentious and friendly with a good party atmosphere. Stays open to about 4.00am
Zanzibar is small also with a friendly crowd but nights can be a bit variable. Some nights have live music others hip hop etc. Again open at weekends to around 4.00am.
Sorry, don't know anything about Elysium.
Society sounds the best to me then, thanks

Bring any combination of clothing that will go from cool, cloudy weather to bright sunshine. We had both on the trip to Liverpool. The trip to Wales required hiking boots and appropriate attire for climbing mountains. Raingear is also essential for those times when the skies open up above you :-S A good zoom lens to try and get a pic of those Liver Birds! Bring along a friend (Sandy) who knows the area and can show you the sights!
it is one of most picturesque of Welsh castles. It is a World Heritage Listed Site. It was built by Edward I between 1283 and 1287, and is a masterpiece of Medieval architecture. It was built as part of Edward's plan to subdue the Welsh, Conwy was both a fortress and garrison town. The castle is built on a rock which determines the castles shape.. The castle is narrow and 125 feet long and built to an unusual bowed plan. It has 8 huge towers and barbicans at each end. The town of Conwy is walled . The wall is almost a mile long with 22 towers and three original gates in it. The town itself is pretty but touristy with the river and estuary only adding to the lovely views. Conwy Castle is part of the 'Heritage in Wales'. Membership of this gives free access to all Cadw sites and half price admission to about 900 sites in England and Scotland.

Take the Ferry 'cross the Mersey of course! This really should be in the Must Sees but it is proper transportation. We had taken the train into Liverpool and then took the ferry back across so I could have the experience. And they really do play 'Ferry 'Cross the Mersey' as you ride on it. Just try and not sing it, lol!
We walked all over, the main attractions are in town and easily explored on foot.
