Strange Green Light and Broken Bed

We had a terrible first night stay in the hostel. My bed was so broken that I had to sleep on the floor. On moving the bed we discovered food under the bed, so clearly they hadn’t been cleaned. Secondly on turning out the light we found a green light that could not be turned off shining directly over my friend’s bed. This light was so bright we could see each other’s faces. Having gone to bed early at 10:30 we both got about 3-4 hours sleep. We asked to be moved in the morning and this was sorted for us when we came back in the afternoon. Our second room had no broken bed and no light on all night. So we did finally get a decent night’s sleep. However in speaking to three different members of staff we didn’t get a single apology. Apalling service.
