Opposite Marks and Spencers a short side street leads to the Bluecoat Chambers.This building dates from 1717 is the oldest in Liverpool and perhaps the lovliest - although many would argue in favour of the Liver Buildings.
It also has a great little cafe here, just a short step away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
