Kings Gap Hotel, Hoylake: Good hotel reasonably close
We stayed at the Kings Gap Hotel in Hoylake which is a short drive or train journey to Port Sunlight. The Kings Gap is a good traditional English hotel with pleasant and clean rooms and gardens and a residents lounge and bar.
Friendly staff and just a short walk from Hoylake station.

Port Sunlight cottgaes: Stay in the village
You can actually stay in the village at one of two houses - 21 and 22 King Georges Drive. I can only guess at what it must be like to stay here in order to complete the boxes.

The Bridge Inn: Every village has a pub!!!
Every village has to have its own pub and Port Sunlight was no exception. Built in 1900 in a coaching house style.
Serves meals as well as drink.
