St Helens Central
Pedestrian walkway and shops in the town centre
I ventured into Saint Helens to stay the night after attending a football match in Liverpool. I was pleasantly surprised by the town and would love to come back in the future to better explore all that it has to offer.
St.Helens is a small town - known only for the rugby team. St Helens is a rugby town and the top team are Saints!! They play at knowsley Road and this is a tourist spot for many rugby fans!!
Another thing that St Helens is famous for is glass!
Making glass as aslo been the most famous industry for St Helens, it has been around for hundreed of years and it is the industry that generates the most cash for the town!!!
Although St Helens is a small town, it has more than 50 pubs and numerous bars and clubs!
The nightlife is usually lively come the weekend!
You get people travel from surrounding towns like Wiagn and Warrington to sample the nightlife at the weekends!
St Helens has a history of glass making and all around the town this is exemplified by its modern glass structures. An award winning museum can be visited to see the glass making and glass blowing process - so you don't have to go all the way to Murano in the Venice Lido to see this!
Right in the centre as well though is this lovely old building - the Quakers meeting place.
Wow wot to say bout St. Helens, home of the best rugby league team in the world, ok u may argue that. Unless ur interested in glass n rugby league don't bother cumin im getting out of here as soon as i finish studyin
