Southport during the winter
by GypsyBessie
I enjoy going to Southport for a day out during the winter months when it is cold, crisp and sunny.
Take a walk around the Lake up to the Pier and also along the beach. It usually is quite windy but on a sunny day is so refreshing! My fondest memory is a ride on the Miniature Railway and also playing in the "Peter Pan" playground which many people do not seem to remember.

Pleasureland southport is no more, once agreat place to visit has become a baron waste site.
Their top attraction was the Traumtizer which has relocated nearby Blackpool pleasure beach and has been renamed Infusion.
