East Anglian charm
"Views of Norwich"
In the heart of East Anglia lies Norwich. It is a complete medieval city and has lots of little alleys and pretty little squares. Turn the corner and you find yourself in another beautiful street with little cafes and restaurants. Markets, shooping malls a cathedral and a castle are all packed into the city. There is so much to see and do. The tourist information office is a good place to start. Get yourself a free map and take a tour of the city by foot. There is a lovely riverside walk too.
We stayed outside the city in a Travelodge but the city has hotels to suit all budgets.
The city was once the second largest city in England, after London, and one of the most important places in the kingdom. It still has much of its original walls around the city giving that extra charm to it.
