The 2nd biggest city in England some 200 yrs ago..
by bluebluejay
I'm doing my undergraduate degree in Uni of East Anglia, Norwich...been here three years, it's practically home. I suppose its like any other small English cities, everything's there but everything closes at 5:30pm... Call me a geek but my favrouite hang-out is the new city library situated in the very clean and modern looking Forum. Very well equipped, always pleasant for a visit!
Wonderful Norwich

"A beautiful City"
Norwich is a lovely place, my home city, where I was born, grew up, went to university and now live. Where my parents grew up and my Grandparents and their parents. My mother has traced the family back to Wymondham a market town in Norfolk.
Norwich is a historical city with two cathedrals and many historic buildings. It is close to the seaside and 100 miles from London.
"Places to visit"
There are many places to visit as well as our Cathedrals, including our castle, Elm Hill, many churches etc etc
In the past few years, Norwich has gone through massive changes. We now have hundred more shops and houses that we never had before.
"Famous...."
Norwich and Norfolk saw Edith Cavell grow up, a war hero who saved many lives in the First World War.
Julian of Norwich is also relatively well known.
Anna Sewell who wrote Black Beauty lived in Norfolk
Nelson was also bron here
