Sheringham Park
If you're in the Norfolk area in May/June time, be sure to take a trip out to Sheringham Park. It is open all year round and run by the National Trust. Designed in 1812 by landscape designer, Humphrey Repton, it's a nice scenic walk through mature woodlands, with a massive collection of impressive rhodedendrons. The many walks through Sheringham Park take you past Sheringham Hall, which is privately occupied, the temple and various view points, including a gazebo from which there are amazing views of the sea.
Sheringham is located on the North Norfolk coast, and the park is located in Upper Sheringham. Toilet facilities are available. The park is open all year round from dawn to dusk.
There is an admission price for the car park which is £3.00. Light refreshments are available from Easter to September. There are wheelchairs available at certain times and boardwalks for wheelchair access through parts of the park.
