Don't be foold by the photos

Don't be fooled by the photos of the lovely old house. Most of the rooms are in a modern US-Motel style part around the back. Everything seems built in the cheapest way possible. Walls were paper thin,we could hear the fan go on in the bathroom of the ajoining rooms.
We had booked for two nights but checked out after one night and stayed at the Clifton hotel on the beach in Scarborough instead.
We had much nicer and pleasant stays in B&B places for half the price of Easy Ayton Lodge.

Unique Quality: The hotel bathroom shower had us in hysterics. Water came out of a grand total of six small holes. I know english showers are nothing special but this takes the prize of worst shower ever seen on our trip to UK, I think even a mouse would have had a hard time getting clean under that shower.
