lovely B&B Scarborough
I have just returned from a weeks break away in Scarborough.We searched the internet looking for a place to stay which would be close by to the Stephen Joseph theatre,we eventually booked at the Captain hotel on Albemarle crescent which is just around the corner from the theatre. On arrival we were greeted very warmly by the nice couple that run it,its a lovely traditional family run guest house.Our ensuite room was very nicely decorated and the bed was unbelievably comfortable,what was very apparent was how clean the rooms were,we have stayed in some b&bs before and they have been fine but sometimes you get a bit of grime round the shower etc but this really was spotless,id defy anyone to find a bit of dust anywhere!! the breakfasts were delicious!! and the location is perfect i found as near to the town,theatres,beaches and everywhere really.Overall we were looked after superbly and considering how reasonable the price was and the quality of the rooms and food [ some organic produce, locally sourced and free range eggs!] i would highly recommend this place to everyone!
