We had a very warm welcome from Linda on our first trip to Whitby. The room was clean, modern and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was very good. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

lovely b&b, the owners linda and john were very good hosts, the room was lovely, the breakfast excellant, fresh fruit and cereals, choice of fruit juices , freshly made coffee and tea, yoghurts, and last but not least the full english !

10 mins walk from the town centre, quite a steep hill to climb, but i managed it and i have a fear of heights !

all in all not one bad thing to say about heathfields b&b !!

Great B &B

by TripAdvisor Member chrishelenHerts

My husband and I stayed at this B&B late October. It was an excellent stay. Linda and John were our brilliant hosts and gave good advice on where to eat out, and places to visit. We happened to be there when it was the Goth weekend which gave the trip an interesting twist! In a good way.
We hope to return as the area is lovely and there is so much to see.Whitby itself is a great little town with good pubs and windy streets to explore. Highly recommended this B&B and Whitby.

weekend get away child free

by TripAdvisor Member jabba57

My husband and i planned a weekend away without the children before the stress of christmas approached. Saw this b&b advertised on a website, pictures looked excellent so thought what the hell would give it a go. Definately glad we did. Accommodation is first class, if there was a higher grade this would be given it, excellent, clean rooms ( i have a habit of inspecting, what can i say im a mum), food was excellent and service was very friendly, could not knock it at all. John and Linda were perfect hosts, if this was an olympic sport they would definately get gold! They even allowed us take away pizza in our room after a day of walking to robin hoods bay, cannot get better then that!
Just want to say thank you for an excellent weekend, keep the bed warm as we will definately be returning!
Thanks again

A warm and friendly welcome

by TripAdvisor Member fortyplus46

We had never been to Whitby North yorkshire but due to family relocating we searched the net and found a B&B close to the move.
the couple that own the B&B made us feel welcome and special
the room was beautiful and as for breakfast everything and more was avalible.
In the room their is a folder full of information on where to eat, visit, and events that happen through the year.
like goth week, music events, fishing events etc. the B&B is a short walk from Whitby town center and not far to drive to Robin hoods bay, scarborough, and more. and if you need more information Linda and her husband are always glad to help and recommend things for you. We took our Grand daughter and she was made to feel welcome again.
we loved the yorkshire moors and we again book with Linda and family A,S,A,P there is so much to see and Linda warm welcome is fantastic.

Fantastic Break

by TripAdvisor Member Foxy80

Just returned from an excellent stay at the Heathfield. We had already been recommended the hotel and were certainly not disappointed. Easy to find off the A171, the Heathfiled is immaculate, beautifully decorated and like a home from home with all kinds of personal touches in the room to make up for anything left behind. We were made welcome from the instant we arrived to the time we finally dragged ourselves away from Whitby. Although it is a short walk from the centre, the weather was on our side and helped walk off the Magpie Cafe's fish and chips!
We will definitely stay at Heathfield's again and will continue to tell all our family and friends to do so too.

Perfect Retreat

by TripAdvisor Member wentworths

We had a brilliant stay at Heathfield bed and breakfast, Linda and John were perfect hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Heathfield is well furnished and maintained to a very high standard, with lots of special touches. Our room had everything we needed and more and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty to choose from on the breakfast menu, we especially enjoyed the bowl of fresh fruit, as well as Linda's full english!!

Heathfield is ideally situated, parking was not a problem and it is just a short walk to the centre. There are plenty of places to eat in Whitby. We would love to return to stay at Heathfield and we will reccommend it to our friends and family.

Highly recommended!

Just got back from a lovely sunny weekend at the Heathfield B&B.

Linda and John were perfect hosts - friendly, welcoming and full of useful info, they made our stay as enjoyable as possible.

The whole place is decorated and furnished to a high standard, and our room was immaculate. The en suite shower room was lovely, and the off-road parking was a bonus. Just a few minutes' walk to Whitby too!

Very Relaxed

by TripAdvisor Member PCMatt101

This B&B is only a five minute walk away from the town centre; just enough of a walk to work off the wonderful breakfast prepared by Linda and John in the morning.

We arrived on the Friday eveving and were met by Linda and John, who are warm and welcoming. The room and facilities were excellent, with en suite shower and and toilet facilities; just what you need after walking the cliffs path from Whitby to Robin Hood's Bay.

We stayed for two nights at the weekend. John and Linda were very helpful, and were on hand with information on local attractions and amenities.

We would definitely stay again.
