Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)

My stay at Whitby was nice thanks to the Sea Cliff Hotel. I went with my class form Whiston Worry goose. The hotel rooms are nice a comfortable hotel. With a shower in each room and either two twin beds or a double. Meals are very nice and the dinning facilities are clean I recommend this hotel to someone else as it is not far to walk to the harbor and this hotel is a comfy and quiet hotel

Unique Quality: The views from the rooms are spectacular some rooms have a sea view

wondeful friendly hotel accommodatiom

I have stayed at the Seacliffe with my family initially(a 7 yr old and a 12 yr old) and the Hyde family could not be more obliging. They are always around to help ,have a chat and give advice on what's going on in Whitby town. The hotel rooms are lovely, absolutely spotless and well presented with all the little extras you could wish to find, soap/shampoo/hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities etc..
I have returned with friends from Ireland and then again with another group of Mum's with children. They all loved their stay at the Seacliffe. The bar is very stylish and relaxing haven for parents in the evening, the patio garden is a suntrap and a lovely place to relax and read.
The wide selection of breakfast food is absolutely wonderful .The full english breakfast is top class and any bizarre children's requests have always been delivered. We are returning again this spring and would recommend this hotel highly.

Unique Quality: see above comment

Directions: past the whalebones along the cliff top road towards Sandsend.
