Train and Taxi
To get to Langley Castle without a car, you'll need to take the train to Newcastle, then change for Hexham (it's a frequent route on a smaller train, leaving several times a day), about 30 minutes west of Newcastle. Then hire a taxi (waiting at the Hexham station) to Langley Castle--the driver will know where to go!

"The Josephine Room"
My sister and I lounge on the sofabed set into the 7-foot-thick walls. Not a bad setting for a snooze, hmm?
"The Drawing Room"
We sat in here before and after dinner, taking in the picture-perfect setting. I felt like royalty!
The most beautiful place I've ever stayed. Expensive, but worth it for the experience. Check out http://dialspace.dial.pipex.com/town/parade/ow51/ for the official site.

"The Dining Room at Langley Castle"
I had one of the best meals of my life here!

"Langley Castle--playing princess for a night!"
We stayed overnight here on our way up from London to Edinburgh. This was the best "hotel" stay of my life--including the best bed, the best bathroom, the best dinner, and the best setting!
