Travelled down from Scotland and spent two pleasant & relaxed nights at this Hotel.....location is good for Nottingham City Centre...Train station down the next street and not far from some really big attractions ie The old Lace Market area, Nottingham Arena,Trent Bridge and the Football grounds eg Notts Forest..
I know Nottingham pretty well...so this was defineatly a Hotel of choice !
Rooms are very clean and still with very fresh decor, the Breakfast is plentifull & excellent...the quiet efficient pace of the place tells you it is very well run ...I stayed on the 11th Floor...worth it for a great view, even watched men fishing in the Canal drifting past across the road....in November !
Go back for sure, business or pleasure...
Best Weekend Ever
by TripAdvisor Member IrishMiniBreak
Jurys Nottingham truly is a fantastic property. With its excellent location( near by shops and nightlife), great value for money and fantastic staff, what more could more girls look for on a girlie weekend away.
The bedrooms were clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would need. The food was also excellent and very reasonably priced.
The staff from check in right through to our departure were really professional and helpful ( even when directing us on where to get a can of Fanta at 4 in the morning.
Thanks again for a great stay . We will most definetely see you again soon!

Think of the best travelodge you have visited...now add that little bit more and you get the Jurys Inn - It's a higher class travelodge. Stayed in this hotel for one night, it was comfortable and clean. The only bad point i could think of in this hotel was the food in the bar, we waited over an hour for a baked potato and a sandwhich and it was quiet. When it did finally arrive it was terrible! Overall though nice hotel set in a good location.

Not Happy....
Went to this hotel on 13th Jan as it was one close by to the Ice Arena for the Bitish Championships. My friend booked a room for two people for the first couple of nights, and then to include myself for the saturday evening. At the time of booking, she was told that the price was per room, NOT per person. Therefore, we were given the impression that the twin room that we had booked via telephone was suitable to accommodate 3 people (a double and single bed in the same room). Or so we were told....
I arrived on saturday , checked in with a receptionist around 7pm(and might i add there is no free car parking). You have to park a good 10-15 min walk away from the hotel. This was a bit of downer, but i thought well at least im here, looks like a nice hotel. So, because you park at the railway station carpark, you have to let the railway know and then let the hotel know. I did just that, and the recetionist seemed lovely. But then the problem came after being on a night out...
We arrive back at the hotel, continue on to the hotel room, only to be told that i cannot stay - as i am not on the system! W ehad to argue it out with the night-shift Manager Glenn (f.y.i). He was adament i had not checked in, yet my details had somehow disappeared from checking in several hours earlier. So we were being punished for their mistake. Upon asking if i could enter the room to collect my things and depart, i had a blank look thrown my way, then told no!!! I then give my car registration details as proof that i did check in - once again these details also dont apper to be on the system! So i then panic wondering if my car is going to be clamped as the receptionist had abviously not done her job properly. My friend had to come back down to reception - in her dressing gown - and stand there and argue for an hour before he finally decided we were geniune and admit that maybe they had infact made a mistake.
We were absolutely disgusted with this behavior and the door staff were more friendly and helpful than the Manager. My friend was not very happy to say the least after she had booked this via telephone by credit card, and double-checked the reservation.
My advice - make sure you TRIPLE CHECK your reservation if staying here - not that we will be ever again!!
Fantastic venue and very comfortable

I stayed at the hotel with my friends for a night out in Nottingham. The venue is great, the staff are very friendly and it was very close to the train station.......... Did not have to travel by car which helped the next day after our celebrations
Short break

Stayed two nights and found the accommodation excellent value for money - £52.00 per night - staff helpful and obliging - railway station close by with plenty of taxis available - room warm, comfortable and spacious - TV and hot drinks available and other usual facilities - short walk to main city centre facilities - ate out both evenings so unable to comment on catering standards but would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again -
