oxford hostel

the facility is secure and well maintained. there is a communal kitchen and "fun" area. the beds are a little uncomfortable, but it was the best i could do for how expensive england is. i felt safe, and this hostel was in a convenient location.

Nice people.great location

minutes from the transport stations i felt immediately at home here and think university city.s like Oxford ,Glasgow and Brazilia have developed a more free and easy attitude to foreigners ,you just integrate much more easier and fit in.The plethora of small rooms and no big dorms was a big point in its favour but the atmophere was really great and that does not khappen it takes quite a bit of work .Well done chaps.

Unique Quality: Apart from the towns academia steeped in history ,the surrounding countryside is well worth exploring and the cotswolds whilst nothing in comparison to the west highlands and Trossachs on Glasgows outskirts are enchanting in an entirely different way . Oxford does seem to be canal central for boat lovers.

Q: Oxford from Bath "I plan to do Bath and Oxford in a day. Is this possible ? How do I get from Bath to Oxford ? Is there a direct train ?"

A: "There's no direct train but it is an easy enough journey with one change at Reading - the e/w journey time can as short as 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on connection..."
