Rencently I stayed at 30 Crescent Gardens near the Royal Crescent in Bath. David and Caroline are welcoming, helpful and informative hosts. Their breakfasts go way beyond the usual English breakfast and utilize locally grown produce. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The location is ideal for touring all that beautiful Bath has to offer. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended, particularly the breakfasts.
We were very happy with our 4 night stay here. David had our bags upstairs before we had unpacked the car, in a spot just behind the house. He is also very helpful with directions for drivers. Caroline had great advice about restaurants and specific things to see. Probably the best breakfast we have had in an English B&B. Spotlessly clean and a flat walk to the city centre. Caring hosts make all the difference in a B&B. Their library is a good resource too.
Number 30 is a superb B&B.
The accomadation is first class, and the Breakfast is a serious threat to slimmers.
Both David & Caroline are excellant hosts,being both friendly and helpfull.
Very convenient for Bath city centre with its many attractions.

We stayed here when attending a beloved aunt's wedding in Bath. What a wonderful place! The people who run it are lovely - they can't do enough to help you and really want you to enjoy your stay in their beautiful city. The rooms are well turned out and clean with quality toiletries and the communal areas are very pleasant and light.
The best thing, though, is the breakfasts. They have lovely sausages, excellent bacon, tomatoes which taste of tomatoes and home-made marmelade. I didn't taste the vegetarian options but the couple we sat at breakfast with had home-made sweet-potato patties which they said were marvellous.
Highly recommended and I can't think of a better place to spend a hungover post-wedding breakfast.
We stayed at number 30 for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Like all reviewers before us the place was spotlessly clean, the hosts so friendly and the breaksfasts one of the best I have ever come across.
This place is a gem - I booked it after reading the reviews on here and I am so glad I did!
My only criticism was the size of our room (we stayed in Jane Austen at the top of the house) because there was no space to put anything and my only other criticism was the traffic noise from this room being at the front of the house. This did not detract from the overall experience though and when i next visit Bath I will definitely stay here.
My wife & I enjoyed such a delightful 4 night stay at Number 30 - it must be the best B&B in Bath.
David, Caroline & Jean were wonderfully warm and helpful hosts; our room was very clean & comfortable with every facility we needed; Breakfast was superb; and all this within a few minutes walk of Bath's city centre with all it's attractions and activities. Free broadband internet was a bonus. Thank you - we will be back!
