Great hotel in great location with fabulous staff

We stayed at The Halcyon for 3 days and had the most memorable and wonderful stay. The hotel is a beautiful townhouse about 2 mins walk from the train station and all the attractions of Bath. The hotel is relatively new and the decor is contemporary but in keeping with the Georgian building.

The room we stayed in was of a good size and had a lovely bathroom with walk in shower. We love the white company products and the fluffy towels! Everything in the hotel is very high quality for the price. We paid £115 per night which was great value compared to other hotels in Bath.

The staff are fantastic - welcoming and friendly. They helped us with reservation and advice with restaurants in the evening and provided us with umbrellas when it was raining! The breakfast was fabulous, full english on the weekend and continental on the Monday morning was just super.

I can't fault the hotel - if you want a boutique hotel in Bath in a city centre location then The Halcyon is perfect.

Unique Quality: Great Decor with a cool vibe - the cocktail bar downstairs is a great place for drinks. The cocktails are well mixed and the staff once again were great.
