Friendly Georgian B&B
We spend three nights at the Windsor Guest house.
Unique Quality: Very freindly staff, great breakfast, placed in a wonderful Georgian townhouse.

A Regency Treat
Step into the drawing room of the Windsor Hotel and take a step back in time. It's not every day that the Jane Austen dancers come by to perform. When they do, this setting is picture perfect. Sir Walter and Elizabeth Elliot would have been pleased to take tea here.
At the Windsor, Regency Townhouse style comes to life. Silk draperies reflect the glow cast by polished sconces. Rooms are bright, comfortable and inviting and bathrooms are well-supplied. Up under the rafters a perfectly charming single room offers an incomparable view over the boulevard that is Great Pulteney Street. Linger in the breakfast room while you decide whether to head up the street to the Holburne Museum - down the street to the Victoria Museum or across Sydney Gardens to stroll along the canal. The location is ideal for a scenic walk in any direction.
Unique Quality: Rear rooms face the greenery of the Recreation Ground. Parking, bed and breakfast are included in the rates.
In the lower level, SAKOURA is the (surprise!) contemporary Japanese teahouse that serves sukiyaki and other 3 course set menus priced at L25 per person. It is open from 6:00 - 10:00 pm Tuesday to Saturday, and requires reservations. Phone 422100.
