Bridgewater Canal Mixup
Well my fondest memory of Bridgewater is more of a mistake rather than a positive thing. While on holiday in Weston Super Mare I persuaded my parents to take me to Bridgewater. At the time I was studying canals at school and as Bridgewater was so near I fancied a visit to the Bridgewater canal. it wasn`t until we got there and couldn`t find it that I realised that the canal was actually the Duke of Bridgewaters` Canal and therefore nowhere near where we were. Luckily my parents were ok about, I did feel a bit stupid though.
