Bath Arms: A Great Stay

The Bath Arms was very comfortable and reasonable. It also is an old-style inn/hotel with a lot of charm, a good English bar, and great breakfast.

It's in an historic, attractive old stone building in the centre of town. It has a cozy, old-fashioned feel and the breakfast was excellently prepared.

It's on the right as you leave Cheddar: Camping

A nice 3 man dome tent. Cosy and cheap. Huddle together for warmth, cook on a single flame gas burner, then give up and drive to the chippy! Wash your hair in freezing cold water, pitch your tent accidentally on a slope in the dark and spend the whole night sliding down the hill. I love camping! It always seems like such a good idea at the time.

Seriously, unless you are really broke, get a B&B!
