Staying in History
I have not stayed in this hotel myself,but i know many people who have and have absolutely loved it.People dont only stay the night(s) there but also hold bussiness meetings and other,and this place is where Gary Rhodes was once a chef.
Unique Quality: Go and see for yourself,beautiful rooms,spacious outlay and of course full of history.

Taunton's best and most central
Four star hotel, bang smack in the Centre of Taunton. Used by celebs when they come to Taunton, and with fine cuisine in the restaurant. Not the cheapest mind, but worth it. Gary Rhodes used to be the chef here, and the Sunday lunch menus are among the best in the town. There is also a restaurant for non-residents called Brazz - which has a separate website at www.brazz.co.uk. There is a secure car park to the back of the building. Historically it dates from the 12th century and was where the Duke of Monmouth and his men mustered prior to their defeat by James II.
