Elements Cafe Bar

Elements is a small bar situated on the same strip as Dragon Kiss and is situated beside Yates. Despite its size it has a charming, relaxed yet upbeat atmosphere. Admittedly its not the best place in Weston-Super-Mare (toilets could do with a paint job) to go but it does make a refreshing change from establishments such as Dragon Kiss where you can barely move without someone pushing past and spilling yours or their drink all over you. It is also one of those increasingly rare venues where you can have a conversation with your friends without having to shout at point blank range down their ear hole in order for them to hear you. The feel good atmosphere was undoubtledly aided by the DJ who seemed to inject energy and enthusiasim into my partner and myself with his excellent choice of smooth rhythms and funky beats. Overall I would say it is the perfect place to go before you move on to your chosen club for the evening as it certainly put me in the mood and to help matter the drinks were fairly cheap (doubles for £3).
