Beachlands Hotel

Lovely surprise

What an amazing surprise this was - from outside the hotel looked like any old seaside hotel but inside - WOW! The staff were helpful and friendly, the decor of the rooms pleasant and more like a country home with very comfortable odd sofas and chairs scattered around the lounges - and the food was perfect. The breakfasts (included in the price)were wonderful - not just plain Full English or Continental (which were available) but things like smoked salmon with scrambled eggg. Although not a sea front hotel the prom is actually less than 5 mins walk.

We went for the first time to WSM to visit wartime friends of my 92 yr old mother (who can complain for England) and even she was impressed - having gone there for a mercy visit, my husband and I plant to go and stay at Beachlands for a holiday on our own.

PS The whole ground floor has been refurbished, and it shows - our rooms were done in the style of seaside chalets - plenty of tea and coffee, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean.

Unique Quality: There is also a spa facility with pool, which we did not have time to visit but people were coming in from outside the hotel to use it so I can only conclude that it is as good as the parts we saw of the hotel

Excellent car park with good access and wheel chair friendly
