Friendly Bar ,off of West Street by suvanki
This bar opened a couple of years ago now (2006), it's still quite well hidden at the moment from West Street, due to nearby building work.A good place for meeting up, before venturing further down West Street or into town.
Comfy settees, friendly/ helpful bar staff, wide variety of draught beers, lagers. Extensive cocktail menu.
We were presented with discount cards, and my friend received a complimentary birthday cocktail!
Colour scheme Red/ Black. chrome etc. Faux ostrich skin settees, low tables.
Toilets upstairs, clean and stylish (Theres a tasteful naked male poster in there too! )
DJ nights, mix of styles.
Selection of free postcards/flyers etc. near the door
A good place for my friends all to meet, before venturing out for a meal after work, mid week. It's usually been fairly quiet, but this doesn't detract from the atmosphere.
Guess it gets livelier later on!
* Driving past here a few nights ago, it looked as if this place was closed- not sure if this is for refurbishment - will try and find out)
