Tamworth Castle - a Norman shell-keep castle with intact apartments. Period rooms dating from 12th to 19th centuries and a ghost!

We also have some lovely countryside and canal walks surrounding Tamworth - Hopwas Woods and Middleton Hall can both be reached by lovely walks along the canal. There are some quaint villages surrounding Tamworth - Appleby, Wigginton, Hopwas, Shuttington and Orton on the Hill - find a nice village pub and enjoy a beer outside in the sunshine. Nothing much really apart from friends and family! However, I do enjoy walking along the canal pathways and through Hopwas woods.
