Many restaurants around...

At walking distance from the station, the location of the hotel is pretty nice: just in front of a cinema complex also hosting several chain restaurants, more interesting, it is also located close to St Peter Street where a couple of nice restaurants can be found. It is also very close from the marina (and some more pubs and restaurants).
I’ve stayed several times here and the staff was really friendly and helpful. From the outside, the hotel architecture is really not impressive. The inside however is pretty modern, as all the Novotel I’ve seen so far.
However the atmosphere of the bar, restaurant,… was really nice and not too fancy!
The room is a classical Novotel one. The furniture are modern and functional! Nice bed and nice bathroom, nothing to complain about.

Even if there is quite some choice around, the hotel restaurant is also worth a check. Quite original, they have a couple of special tables for single where you could watch TV with a headset!! I found that a bit depressive and I preferred to sit in front of the open kitchen to watch the chef prepare the food, much more enjoyable as a show!
The food was really nice in the evening. The breakfast buffet however was ok but not that memorable! To be fair, it was also relatively cheap.

Novotel

The hotel is superbly located just a short walk from the town centre, railway station, the bus station and most importantly the football stadium.

There is a car park available free of charge to guests. Rooms are reasonably priced and I've never had any cause to complain when I've stayed there.
