Crown Pools swimming baths
by Carnation
As the title suggests, Crown Pools is our ever popular public swimming baths. Very modern in design and architecture. Inside, a wave pool, competition pool and kiddies pool awaits you. All around are hanging ivies and plants to give a sense of the tropics. A gymnasium, sauna, solarium, bar and restaurant await visitors to this place.

"Historic Anglo-Saxon town"
Ipswich , the county town of Suffolk and England's oldest continously settled Anglo-Saxon town, has a number of attractions for the visitor.
There is Christchurch Park and Mansion , The Waterfront, The Suffolk countryside, Golf courses, Ipswich Town Football Club, top shops, Restaurants, the Marina, and a whole lot more.
It is also within easy reach of the coastal towns of Clacton -on-sea, Felixstowe, Southwold, Southend, and many more.
It is close to the historic town of Colchester (over the border in Essex), which has the famous Colchester Zoo.
The River Orwell runs through parts of the town, and a visit to the marina is worth a visit. You can visit a few bars and enjoy a drink while watching the boats etc.
A ride on the open top city sightseeing tour bus would acquaint you with the town sights.
There are also guided walks to let you discover more about the town and it's heritage,
