Considered some of the very best beaches in Northern Europe. Lowestoft Seafront has two piers and the newly developed 'Royal Plain Fountains' is a hit with the kids. It consists of 74 individual interactive water jets with variable lighting, forming a striking centrepiece to the recently enhanced Royal Plain area. The fountains provide interactive play for children of all age’s . Lowestoft is the most easterly point of the British coast. Lowestoft once played a major part in the UK's fishing industry. Today Lowestoft is know for the annual airshow held on the beach which often features the Red Arrows.
