A grade 2 listed building on a busy main road - a long uphill walk from the city centre in a none too nice area.
That aside the hotel is however quite nice - it is very new (2012) and the rooms are clean and comfortable although the bathroom was small and only had a shower and no bath. The television was positioned so that it was difficult to see from the bed - as there was no chair you had to sit or lie on the bed to see the television.
This is presumably a Muslim hotel as there was no bacon for breakfast - only turkey rashers. The breakfast was also quite greasy and not nice.
The restaurant only serves Indian food so may not be for everyones taste. However the chicken korma I had was the best one I have ever had.
Friendly and attentive staff who work hard to make you welcome. The hotel seems to have many regular returning clients.
