There are a lot of places where you can go with your friends and family, parks, sports events, proms, parties, restaurants and many more. Some people like going out at night with their friends, renting a limo will make your journey safe all the ling night. The well trained drivers take care of the transportation while you enjoy at the back. The limo will be ready to pick you up at the given time. So renting a limo is a good choice and it offers you more luxury.limo hire london is very easy to take. http://www.lastretchlimos.co.uk

Travel Tips for Newcastle upon Tyne

Grey Street - Central Newcastle

by yooperprof

The Blue Guide to Victorian Architecture calls Grey Street "exceptionally noble, stone classical facades with columned centrepieces breaking up the blocks." The Street is named after Charles, the 2nd Earl Grey (1764-1845), Whig Prime aristocrat who was responsible for the Britain's 1807 abolition of the slave trade and the passing of the 1832 Reform Bill.

Blacksmith's Needle

This is my other favourite sculpture - The Blacksmiths Needle, a 7.6 metre steel sculpture, the maritime theme being represented by mermaids, bells, shells and sea creatures.

Ever used AltaVista BabelFish to translate from one language to another? Well now there's an extension to cover the language of Newcastle - 'Geordie'. It can be found here

Beamish Open Air Museum

by clairegeordio

Beamish is a working experience of life as it was in North-East England in the 1800's and 1900's. It is set in around 450 acres with about 70 buildings. There are many things to see and do including a visit down a mine, a working farm, a school, rides on working trams and buses, visits to shops along an old-fashioned street from the 1920's. Demonstrations, eg. sweet making are also very interesting to see.
Admission charges at time of writing (15/2/04) are Adults GB pounds 12, children GB pounds 7, sixty-plus GB pounds 10. In Winter it is a reduced fee of ?4 per person. There is so much to see here so I would recommend at least 5 hours.

Eldon Square

by Grootpiet

Located more conveniently in the city center, Eldon square has a bit more character than the sprawling metro center.

Lots of shops, a very bad Juicy Lucy, and a massive Fenwick's (dept. store).
