Grey Street - Central Newcastle by yooperprof
The Blue Guide to Victorian Architecture calls Grey Street "exceptionally noble, stone classical facades with columned centrepieces breaking up the blocks." The Street is named after Charles, the 2nd Earl Grey (1764-1845), Whig Prime aristocrat who was responsible for the Britain's 1807 abolition of the slave trade and the passing of the 1832 Reform Bill.
